Playing with the strengths
Playing with the strengths
What are my strengths?
Am I playing with my strengths?
I would say, playing with strengths is easy but, changing the weakness to the strengths would be beneficial in a long run, because, someone else can outweigh eventually.
I really excited to know more about myself through the words of others when i did analysis of RBS . It was much more refreshing and rejuvenating to listen the good things about myself and happy to note that people have noted.
As the discussions were going on, i couldn't skip the talk on 'using the strength as the weapon in handy or at the best' . Just like i used to mention, Lord Arjuna is at his best when he handles the 'Bow and Arrow' , none other than Karna is equal match. Yes, knowing your strengths helps to handle the things better.
Strength lies in differences , not in similarities.
- Stephen Covey
Identifying what you are good at helps to solve the problems. But, at the same time we should remember that , in order to be obsessed to use our own strengths, we shouldn't play with others weaknesses. It wouldn't be ethical.
I happened to come across the word- ikigai which could be defined using four questions.
- what am i good at ?
- what am i like to do?
- what am I paid for ?
- does the world needs?
If all the 4 questions answer the same , we are at our best. All of the people aren't blessed to get all the four answers matching. But, slowly we can work across to reach the goal bridging the gap.
I stumbled to fill the answers for 'what is my fulfilling experience?' When it was questioned first.. But, in due course of time, 2 weeks later, I identified a situation when I experienced the same - "The most fulfilling experience" . I had the perfect flow .
I took enough time to prepare myself and my topics and made presentations.
I made a short seminar session on few topics and the audience enjoyed the time.
I felt i had a beautiful experience in talking with them. But, i am still intriguing whether it is the best moment so far ? Maybe yes and no. With the time changes, i might experience elsewhere too. I would mark this one as 'fulfilling' experience at present, like which is been remembered now until i get a better one 😜.
